Kev Yiu is a HongKong designer who studied in England and graduated with triple distinctions in Fashion and Clothing.
In 2006, he began his career in bags and garments and launched his own brand “Sovereign romance” in England as a foreign designer.
Having studied in England for years, Kev was very much inspired by the European fashion culture and firmly believes that fashion is much more
than a business, but it’s also an art form which can be translated into a visible language to express his point of views. His aim is to bring Love and Romance into the fashion industry as well as peoples’ daily lives.
His designs have been strongly appreciated and worn by Asian celebrities such as Fan Bing Bing, Sammi Cheng, Twins, Myolie Wu, Ivana Wong, Fiona Sit & Kary Ng Etc.
He was selected twice as one of the
“Rise & Shine”Fashion influences by Hong Kong well known magazine “Jessica Code”.
In 2014, he was sleceted as one of the winners of "The 10 outstanding designers awards".

Sovereign Romance first launched in England and
was immensely appreciated by the locals
Kev went back to his home city Hong Kong and established his
fashion business by selling “Sovereign Romance” in
different Fashion consignment stores.
Kev was chosen as one of the 16 designer contestants for the reality TV show
“Fashion World Talent Awards”out of 300 applicants.
Kev won the Champion of Reborn Fashion Competition2010.
Kev collaborated with Hong Kong Designer association and Launched
a series of Cocktail dresses which were sold in DBHK located in Shanghai.
Sovereign Romance first participated in Shanghai Fashion Week.
Kev was chosen as the Rise & Shine Fashion Icon by Jessica Code Magazine.
Kev Collaborated with international Bridal brand AOLISHA and launched
a series of bridal & Evening gowns called Aolisha by KEVYIU for worldwide.
Sovereign Romance has been renamed as KEV YIU .
Kev Has been Chosen as one of the winners of Ten Outstanding Designers awards.
Kev has been given an award as one of the “Ten Edgy Icons” from the
well known Fashion Magazine “Jessica Code”
